Quarter Up will add Angstrom Levy to Invincible VS on October 13. The Season 2 release makes him the fighting game’s third DLC addition and its 21st playable character, according to a developer post published through Xbox Wire.
Portals shape his approach
Angstrom is designed as a zoning fighter who controls where an opponent can safely move. His portals serve several purposes: they can support attacks, create escape routes or become traps when placed in advance. That gives him a different rhythm from a character built mainly around direct pressure.
Summonable orbs add another layer to the setup. Quarter Up says the orbs interact with Angstrom’s portals, allowing players to combine the two tools rather than manage separate abilities. In a three-on-three tag game, those placements also have to account for assists and team composition. The practical value of any setup will depend on timing, spacing and how opponents respond; the announcement describes the intended toolkit but does not provide balance data or match results.
First public play at Evo France
Players attending Evo France in October will be able to try Angstrom before his wider release. The developer did not specify a public test period in the announcement. For everyone else, October 13 is the stated availability date.
Angstrom’s story also informs the mechanics. The character can travel between dimensions and carries memories from alternate versions of himself after an accident. Quarter Up centered the playable design on that portal ability instead of treating it as a background detail.
Invincible VS is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Xbox Cloud, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. Angstrom Levy is a DLC fighter rather than a new base-game mode. Pricing or purchase terms for the individual character were not included in the Xbox Wire article, so players should check the game’s official listing before buying.
