Riot Games Reveals Hush, VALORANT’s Reality-Bending Duelist From Guangdong

Riot Games has revealed the next VALORANT agent. Hush, a new Duelist from Guangdong, China, was introduced on October 18, 2026 through the “RISE AND FALL” cinematic on the official VALORANT channel, and the agent is set to join the roster in Season 26 // Act VI.

The trailer’s official description frames Hush as a character who can “rewrite the rules of the battlefield,” calling the agent “VALORANT Protocol’s new reality-bending Duelist.” Riot has confirmed the name, the Duelist role, the Guangdong origin, and the Season 26 // Act VI window. It has not yet published an ability list, ability names, or a release date.

What is confirmed, and what is not

The reveal establishes who Hush is without explaining how the agent plays. VALORANT agent announcements typically lead with a cinematic that fixes the character, then follow with a separate gameplay and ability breakdown. The trailer therefore sets up Hush’s identity while leaving the mechanical kit for a later drop.

That has a practical consequence: players cannot yet judge where Hush fits in a team composition, and any read on the agent’s strength is inference rather than stated design. The launch timing is also open-ended, since Season 26 // Act VI is a patch cycle with no specific day attached to it.

What “reality-bending” could mean

Riot’s wording points toward a Duelist who changes the conditions of a fight instead of one who simply wins duels with raw aim. “Reality-bending” and “rewrite the rules of the battlefield” suggest tools built around space, sightlines, and how engagements are entered. In that reading, Hush would open room for the team by disrupting how opponents hold angles and positions.

That interpretation is analysis, not a confirmed kit. Until Riot publishes the ability breakdown, the trailer’s one-line description is the entire official statement of how Hush plays.

The reveal also carries an original song, “It’s You,” performed by Karencici and credited to VALORANT. For now, the defining question for competitive players — how a reality-bending Duelist changes fights — remains unanswered.
