Coffee Stain Studios has revealed Core Values, the first paid expansion for Satisfactory. The official Steam listing shifts the factory-building game below the surface of MASSAGE 2(A-B)b, where players will establish a separate underground production network.
The listing promises new resources, flora and fauna alongside additional production lines and buildings. It does not give a release date, showing only “to be announced.” Players will need the base game to use the downloadable content.
An underground network changes the building problem
The central idea is not simply a larger map. Core Values moves construction into the planet’s crust and ties progression to exploration below ground. Coffee Stain’s description says players will learn more about the world as they travel deeper, while continuing the familiar cycle of construction, automation, exploration and resource extraction.
That setup suggests a second factory network rather than a cosmetic extension of an existing save. New production lines and buildings are explicit features in the official description. The exact resource chains, transport systems and interactions with above-ground factories have not yet been detailed on the store page, so players should not assume that current logistics will transfer unchanged.
The announcement leaves major details open
Steam identifies Coffee Stain Studios as the developer and Coffee Stain Publishing as the publisher. The page also lists single-player, online cooperative play and cross-platform multiplayer among its features. Those labels confirm supported play modes, but they do not explain how cooperative factories will work across the new underground area. The listing also does not state a price, launch window or final system requirements specific to the expansion.
The listing is already available for wishlisting on Steam. Until Coffee Stain publishes a date and a fuller feature breakdown, the confirmed scope is narrow but clear: this is paid DLC, it requires Satisfactory, and its main addition is an underground factory-building layer with new environmental and production elements.
