Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Joins Xbox Game Pass on October 29

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade leads the next wave of Xbox Game Pass additions, arriving October 29 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The announcement came in an Xbox Wire post from Megan Spurr, Xbox’s Senior Community Lead for Game Pass, published October 20. The game joins Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass, with no Xbox One version in the listing.

The placement makes sense for a catalog that has leaned into Square Enix’s remakes. Intergrade retells the opening stretch of the original, covering everything up to the escape from Midgar, and pairs it with the hybrid battle system that blends real-time action with command-based combat. It is the highest-profile name in a wave that otherwise leans on smaller indies and day-one debuts.

The rest of the October 21 to November 3 wave

Sandustry opens the slate on October 21 as a Game Preview title for PC only. It is listed for Game Pass Premium and joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The factory game sends players through destructible pixel worlds to build production chains. Dodo Duckie follows on October 22 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, a puzzle platformer that swaps between 2D and 3D with a magical cap.

Scramble Knights Online arrives October 26 as a day-one MMO-lite action RPG for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, listed for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only. The Séance of Blake Manor follows on October 27, a supernatural detective mystery set in 1897 Ireland.

October 29 is the wave’s busiest day. Alongside Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, it brings Mouthwashing, the psychological horror game about five crew members stranded in space; Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, the HD remaster of the classic tower-defense game; and Terrible Lizards, a day-one horror parkour debut. Pit of Goblin closes the slate on November 3.

Eleven departures follow the additions

Nine games leave the service on October 31, including Deep Rock Galactic, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and Wartales. Two more, Football Manager 26 and its console edition, leave on November 10. Subscribers who want to finish any of those have until the removal date.

What the Xbox Wire post does not specify is whether any leaving title will return later or receive a purchase discount. The announcement confirms the removal dates and the current platform and tier listings, but leaves return windows open.
