Gaijin Entertainment has dated War Thunder’s next Battle Pass. Season 25, subtitled Steel Fury, runs from October 21 at 12:00 GMT to January 20 at 12:00 GMT, a 90-day window built around German vehicles, decorations, and decals.
The season’s main water reward is the S-706, a Rank III premium torpedo boat. Gaijin traces the vessel to the Danziger Waggonfabrik shipyard, where it was laid down and commissioned on October 31, 1944. It served in the North Sea and the English Channel before the United States took it as a war reparation, studied it in Philadelphia, and sold it for scrap in 1948. In game, the S-706 is the latest generation of German Schnellboote: it reaches nearly 80 km/h, carries depth charges, and mounts four torpedo tubes, two forward and two aft, with a total of six torpedoes. Because the tubes face both directions, a captain can fire while closing in or breaking away without turning the boat around. Guns include 30 mm and 20 mm cannons and machine guns.
On land, the season rewards the Jagdpanther G2, a Rank IV premium tank destroyer. It is the second and final production variant of the Jagdpanther, introduced in 1944, and Gaijin notes it saw action in the Lake Balaton Offensive and the Ardennes campaign. Its 88 mm gun is the same weapon found on the King Tiger and can penetrate the frontal armor of most medium and heavy tanks, while its sloped frontal armor deflects smaller armor-piercing rounds. The G2 keeps the G1’s strengths and adds an Em 0.9 m rangefinder and premium status.
The Warbond shop runs alongside the pass, with six levels unlocked by Battle Pass progress. Items from shop level 3 also require medals earned through Special Tasks. Two vehicles appear in the shop for the first time: the Z4 Zerstörer, a premium German destroyer that entered service as the USS Claxton (DD-571) in December 1942 and transferred to the West German Navy in December 1959, and the FR-1 Fireball, the first jet to enter U.S. Navy service, built around a hybrid piston-and-jet powerplant. The shop also lists the Pz.IV G for Italy, the T-126 for the USSR, the MGB-75 for Great Britain, and the Ki-44-II Otsu for Japan.
The base pass costs 2,000 Golden Eagles; the improved version costs 2,500 and starts 15 levels ahead through 150 bonus progress points. Progress comes from daily logins, Daily Tasks, and weekly Challenges, and points can be bought after 28 days. Two Upgrade Coupons, at levels 105 and 125, are both needed to earn the next Battle Pass free and to make the two new vehicles tradable on the Gaijin Market.
