Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Adds Infinity War Duo Mode

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Infinity War event gameplay scene

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 begins October 9 at 09:00 UTC, following an estimated two-hour maintenance window. The centerpiece is Path to Doomsday — Avengers: Infinity War, a limited mode that replaces the usual team structure with six pairs competing for the Infinity Stones.

NetEase’s official patch notes say each round pits two squads against one another. Victory goes to the first duo to collect all six stones. The mode is scheduled to remain available until December 11 at 09:00 UTC, giving it a longer window than several of the update’s events and cosmetics.

Event deadlines vary

Infinity Finale runs through December 10 at 09:00 UTC. Its quest track includes Thor’s The Avengers costume as a free reward, while the announcement also lists Infinity War-inspired cosmetics for Black Panther, Doctor Strange and other characters. The notes do not say that every listed costume is free, so players should check each reward requirement in the event interface.

Times Square receives a shorter promotion ending October 22 at 09:00 UTC. Watching the featured screening continuously for two minutes unlocks an Infinity War Gallery Card. A separate photo activity awards an Avengers Emblem spray and 100 Units.

Cosmetics and Twitch Drops use different windows

The Skele-Saurus bundle for Devil Dinosaur and Vampire King bundle for Blade are listed through November 6 at 02:00 UTC. A Phoenix Cyclops bundle and Infinity Gauntlet accessory arrive October 9, but the patch notes provide no end date for those two items.

Season 10.5’s Twitch campaign starts October 9 at 12:00 UTC and ends November 6 at 09:00 UTC. The featured reward set includes Angela’s Will of Galacta costume and related bundle content. Gold-rank players can earn the Razor-Tooth costume for Jeff the Land Shark as the season’s ranked cosmetic.

This is not a broad balance pass

The official notes list two hero-side adjustments rather than sweeping balance changes. Winter Soldier receives improved response behavior for Trooper’s Fist and Bionic Hook under high latency. Gorr gains a custom targeting-sensitivity option for Shadow Harvest. The update also corrects a Hero Profile label that classified an emoji resource as a costume.

Alchemax Headquarters joins the 18-versus-18 mode, and new lore entries arrive for Thor and Spider-Man. Those additions, the Infinity War mode and the different event deadlines make this release primarily a content update rather than a numerical combat overhaul.
