Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will launch for Windows 11 PCs on November 18, 2026. Capcom’s announcement says the PC version will support Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing one digital purchase to work across PC, Xbox Series X|S and compatible handheld devices.
Xbox Play Anywhere carries progress between devices
Save data, achievements and additional game content will transfer between supported Xbox and Windows devices. That makes the November release more than a separate PC port for current Xbox players: their existing progress can follow them to the new version.
The game is already available on Xbox Series X|S. Capcom also offers a free trial whose save can carry into the full game, although the announcement does not give a new trial length or say that the trial itself requires a purchase.
The PC release keeps the turn-based structure
Twisted Reflection follows the prince or princess of Azuria, the country’s only Rathalos Rider, and Eleanor, princess of Vermeil. Their journey leads toward forbidden ground as they investigate the instability affecting the game’s world.
Combat remains turn-based, while Habitat Restoration lets players release monsters into the wild and change an area’s Ecosystem rank. Players who load cleared save data after installing the latest update can fight a harder version of the final boss. Winning that encounter unlocks Royal versions of almost every monster, along with Royal Invasive Monsters and Royal Calamitous Elder Dragons.
Capcom adds an anniversary trial window
Capcom paired the PC date with plans for the series’ tenth anniversary. From October 22 through October 25, the first two Monster Hunter Stories games will have three-hour timed trials for Xbox players. The company says no Xbox Game Pass membership is required for those trials.
The Side Story: Rudy add-on is also available now for the third game. It is included with the Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Kit. Capcom describes it as a story about Rudy’s origins before he travels with the protagonist as a Royal Palico.
The announcement does not describe PC-specific graphics settings, hardware requirements or a separate Steam release. Its confirmed scope is Windows 11 through Xbox on PC, cross-device entitlements through Xbox Play Anywhere, and the November 18 launch date.
