Virtus.pro won PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall Finals 2, while Team Falcons took the PUBG Americas Series 2 Finals 2 title. PUBG Esports said both teams finished the three-day regional events with commanding leads.
The EMEA result reversed a poor opening stage for Virtus.pro. The team had placed 13th in Finals 1 before winning Finals 2. Team Falcons produced the steadier regional campaign, finishing first in both PAS2 finals.
Eight teams secured PGC places through regional points
The results also settled the direct regional-points qualifiers for the PUBG Global Championship 2026. Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, 09 and Twisted Minds qualified from EMEA. Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Godlike and Circle Nine claimed the Americas places.
Those berths come from PGC Points earned in PEC and PAS competition. They are separate from places available through the PUBG Global Series, so the qualification list can still affect teams below the regional cutoff.
Global Series results can redistribute a regional berth
PUBG Esports explained that a team which also qualifies through the next PGS can free its regional slot for the next eligible team on that region’s PGC Points table. The official example uses Virtus.pro: if it earns a PGC place through the global circuit, its PEC berth would pass down the EMEA standings.
Acend Club and Copenhagen Wolves are among the EMEA teams that could benefit from that process. PUBG Esports did not declare either team qualified, and the redistribution depends on results from the remaining global events. The championship will also include a host-region seed for a Turkish team because PGC 2026 is being held in Türkiye.
Three PGS events remain before PGC 2026
The next qualification stretch begins with PUBG Global Series 10 from October 14 to 18. PGS 11 follows on October 22 to 25, and PGS 12 runs from October 29 to November 1.
PUBG Global Championship 2026 is scheduled for December 1 to 13. Until the Global Series events are complete, the eight regional qualifiers are confirmed, while any redistributed regional places remain conditional.
