Battlefield 6 will join Xbox Game Pass on October 13, anchoring the service’s next October update. Xbox lists the shooter for cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
The same update adds eight other games between October 8 and October 16. Five are scheduled as day-one Game Pass releases, while the catalog will also lose nine titles on October 15.
Three games arrive on October 8
Echo Weaver, Forever Ago and Neon Abyss 2 open the wave on October 8. Echo Weaver is a time-loop metroidvania in which information, rather than conventional upgrades, drives progress. Forever Ago follows a road trip north and uses photography as part of its single-player journey. Neon Abyss 2 brings roguelike platforming to cloud, Xbox Series consoles and PC.
Battlefield 6 leads the October 13 group
Battlefield 6 is the only October 13 addition that is not described as a day-one release. Its Game Pass access comes through tiers that include EA Play. Xbox says members can claim an EA Play Deployment Pack, a Season 5 pack and recurring seasonal rewards; eligible EA digital purchases also receive the standard 10% EA Play discount.
Two day-one games arrive beside it. Deep Dish Dungeon is a survival-exploration game with crafting and solo or online cooperative play. Valor Mortis is a first-person action game from the creators of Ghostrunner, built around a resurrected soldier from Napoleon’s army and supernatural combat.
Later additions and scheduled departures
Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts are due October 15. The former is a two-player-compatible photography adventure, while the latter is a cooperative gladiator roguelike for up to four players. Beyond These Stars, a PC city builder set on a space whale, follows on October 16.
Xbox also lists Shape of Dreams, Minecraft Dungeons II and Gears of War: E-Day as already available. An Asphalt Legends benefit is included for eligible subscribers.
Nine games are scheduled to leave on October 15: A Plague Tale: Requiem, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Crime Scene Cleaner, Donut County, Evil West, Nova Roma, Pacific Drive, Superball and The Casting of Frank Stone. Players who want to continue those games after removal will need to buy them.
The practical split is straightforward: October 8 supplies the first three additions, October 13 brings the largest release and two day-one games, and the final three additions arrive before the departure list takes effect.
