Feel Free Games has confirmed that Luma Island, its cozy farming and adventure game, is coming to PlayStation 5. The studio shared the news through the PlayStation Blog on September 24, 2026, and opened wishlists on the PlayStation Store the same day.
The game first launched on PC in November 2024 and has since drawn more than 800,000 players, according to the developer. The PS5 version carries over the same open-ended loop: players start with an old caravan and a rundown farm, then decide for themselves how to spend their time.
Players can build and decorate the farm, grow crops, raise animals, and pick from eight professions. They can befriend townsfolk and hatch Lumas, the magical companions that join the journey. The game skips survival meters on purpose. There are no stamina bars or inventory limits, so the focus stays on building and exploring instead of managing resources.
Away from the farm, the island offers forests, mountains, and thick jungles, along with caves full of resources and ancient temples holding puzzles and traps. Pirate Cove is a separate region with its own areas to explore and a set of pirate-themed minigames and challenges.
Up to four players can farm together online, sharing building, resources, and exploration. Cross-platform play is supported across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, so friends on different systems can join the same session.
Three difficulty modes let players tune the challenge. Cozy Mode removes combat unless the player opts in, while Adventure and Hero add more pressure. The structure is meant to welcome newcomers and give groups that want a tougher run a way to raise the stakes.
The PS5 release places Luma Island next to other low-pressure farming games, but its professions, Luma companions, and shared co-op systems give it a shape of its own. For players looking for a cooperative farming sandbox without inventory and stamina constraints, the wishlist is open now.
