Digital Extremes has opened Citrine Prime Access for Warframe, adding a gilded Prime Warframe and two matching Prime weapons to the free-to-play action game. The release lands a day after the Iceblade of Narin update and continues the studio’s Prime Access release cadence.
The frame and its weapons
Citrine Prime is the centerpiece. Digital Extremes describes her as gilded in radiant Orokin filigree, with brilliant gems set inside fine gold detailing. The launch’s flavor text casts her as a crystalline citadel that ascends and captivates with refined radiance.
Her first signature weapon is Steflos Prime, a shotgun the studio describes as a rose with gilded thorns. It is built to deal death from even farther away than the standard version. Corufell Prime is the second signature weapon. Its golden vines speed up the transformation, so the Heavy Attack comes out faster than on the base Corufell.
Both weapons ship through the Prime Access release rather than the standard in-game grind.
Accessories and long-running boosters
The Prime Accessories lineup includes the Sphatika Prime Syandana and the Spinele Prime Operator and Drifter accessories, plus the Alumeti Prime Sugatra and a Prismatic Gem Prime decoration. Players who want a matching cosmetic set can also grab the exclusive Citrine Prime Glyphs.
The release bundles a 90-day Affinity Booster and a 90-day Resource Booster, which accelerate Affinity gains and resource collection for three months.
How it is sold
Prime Access is split into tiers. The Weapons Pack covers the two signature Prime weapons, and the Accessories Pack covers the Prime Accessories. The Prime bundle and the Complete bundle bring the full lineup together in a single purchase.
Digital Extremes describes every Prime Warframe, weapon, and item in the release as exquisitely gilded and existing in its purest form, as the Orokin intended. Players who followed the Iceblade of Narin or Jade Shadows updates now have a fresh Prime Access to pursue.
