Last Epoch Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn begins with First Blood, a race to defeat Pinnacle Morditas. The event starts when the season goes live on October 1 at 11 a.m. CDT and separates competition by class and by Normal or Hardcore mode.
Five classes are eligible: Acolyte, Mage, Primalist, Rogue and Sentinel. Each has a Normal solo winner and a Hardcore solo winner, creating ten prize routes.
Character and mode requirements
Competitors must use Seasonal Online Characters in either Solo Account Found or Solo Character Found. Normal and Hardcore results are tracked separately. A player can win only once across all classes and modes, which prevents one racer from collecting several of the ten top prizes.
If two players defeat Pinnacle Morditas at the same time, both are treated as winners. Eleventh Hour Games tracks the kills, so entrants do not need to record or submit fight footage.
How to reach the target
Racers first defeat Morditas through the season mechanic and collect the Woven Echo that drops. Entering the Woven Echo named Demigod’s Ascendance leads to the Pinnacle Morditas fight that decides each class and mode race.
The first eligible player to score that kill in each route receives an Enraged Legend Supporter Pack. Accounts must remain in good standing. Active bans or Code of Conduct violations make a player ineligible, and Eleventh Hour Games employees and Community Testers cannot win.
Participation reward and end condition
Players who log in during the first two weeks of Season 5 receive the Blood Seeker in-game title. The title does not require a race win, giving the broader seasonal audience a reason to join during the opening period.
First Blood runs for two weeks, but it can conclude earlier once every class has a recorded Pinnacle Morditas kill in both Normal and Hardcore. Players aiming for a prize need to choose their class and rule set before investing in the seasonal character, because switching routes loses time and a competitor can claim only one win.
The event rewards speed, but eligibility is as specific as the boss target. Use a Seasonal Online solo character, stay within either Solo Account Found or Solo Character Found, and follow account-conduct rules. Offline and group characters do not qualify for the announced race.
