Star Wars Zero Company has passed one million sold-through copies, according to an estimate from Alinea Analytics. Analyst Rhys Elliott says Steam accounts for 69.9 percent, PlayStation for 19.9 percent, and Xbox plus Xbox PC for 10.2 percent.
The estimate also puts revenue at about $50 million since the game’s August 27 launch. Electronic Arts has not published an official sales total or confirmed the estimate, so the figures should be treated as third-party market analysis rather than audited company results.
PC leads copies, consoles carry more revenue weight
Elliott’s breakdown gives consoles 30.1 percent of estimated copies but 40.1 percent of estimated revenue. PlayStation represents 26.7 percent of revenue and Xbox 13.3 percent in his model. He attributes the difference to higher average spending per console copy.
Steam’s share still makes PC the largest volume channel in the estimate. That platform split can help explain where the audience concentrated, but it does not reveal development costs, marketing spend, refund rates or the publisher’s internal sales target.
Regional reach looks concentrated
Alinea estimates that 90 percent of players are in North America or Europe and fewer than five percent are in Asia. Elliott also pointed to Steam’s Chinese-language user reviews, which he said were 57 percent positive compared with an 82 percent global average, with localization and voice options appearing in complaints.
Those storefront review percentages can change over time and do not measure every player’s opinion. They do give the analyst a basis for arguing that limited localization may have narrowed the game’s audience in Asia.
A sales estimate is not a profitability result
IGN reports the one-million figure from Elliott’s public analysis and notes that EA has not commented on commercial performance. Without an official target or cost disclosure, one million estimated copies cannot establish whether the release met the publisher’s expectations or recovered its total investment.
The best reading separates three claims: Alinea estimates one million sold-through copies, Steam supplies most of that volume, and EA has not verified the number. Revenue estimates and regional explanations remain part of the same analyst model, not company guidance.
