The Bethesda Game Studios account described this year’s celebration as “a little different,” confirming there is no broadcast to tune into and promising something new each day through October 23.
The change ends a pattern in which one stream gathered announcements, music, and merchandise reveals under a single fixed deadline. Spreading the event across a week lets Bethesda publish each day’s material only when it is finished rather than holding everything for one show. It also reshapes how fans follow the event: a broadcast offered one hour to tune in and a clear list of announcements, while five days of social posts require more checking and can mix major reveals with quieter giveaways.
The five-day schedule
Each day carries its own theme. October 19 opens with community spotlights and Wasteland giveaways. October 20 covers Fallout Shelter updates and Fallout 4 Creations. October 21 is reserved for partnerships and out-of-game collaborations. October 22 is the Fallout 76 day, anchored by the first look at the World Pets update. October 23, the Fallout Day date itself, closes the week as a celebration for the wider fanbase.
World Pets is the reveal to watch
Thursday is the only day with a confirmed content reveal. Bethesda has not spelled out what World Pets includes beyond its name, but the update is already on the studio’s published roadmap. In its September “Letter from the Directors,” Bethesda confirmed the Fallout 76 World Pets update is arriving this winter and that, in December, a player’s C.A.M.P. pet can become a “C.A.M.P.-panion” that levels up alongside the player and gains new commands to stay, follow, and protect.
A first look at World Pets points past Fallout 76’s current Slasher season and gives the Fallout 76 community its next concrete content beat to plan around, even if the studio has not said whether the reveal includes a release date.
What is not confirmed
Bethesda has not promised a major announcement to close the week. The Fallout Shelter updates could be new content or recurring events, and it is unclear whether October 23 ends with any additional announcement. The daily themes also leave room for interpretation, since the studio has kept specifics under wraps ahead of each day.
