SCS Software has named seven more destinations planned for American Truck Simulator’s British Columbia expansion. The new preview covers Cranbrook, Valemount, Williams Lake, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Vernon and Bella Coola, extending the map from interior transport centres to the Pacific coast.
Freight routes shape the larger cities
Prince George is presented as an industrial and transport hub at the junction of Highways 16 and 97. The developer lists a paper mill, chemical factory, refinery and intermodal terminal among the industries drivers will serve. Prince Rupert shifts the focus west to port work, with contracts tied to the harbour, seafood processing and nearby timber operations.
Williams Lake also has a clear freight profile. Its jobs connect to a sawmill, scrapyard and construction-equipment dealer. Vernon’s delivery points include an agricultural-equipment dealer, landscape supplier, yacht builder, recreational-vehicle dealer and beverage plant. These are confirmed destination types from the preview, not a complete contract list for the finished expansion.
Smaller communities broaden the scenery
Cranbrook’s rail history appears through its old station and the Cranbrook History Centre. Valemount sits among the Rockies, Cariboo Mountains and Monashee Mountains, with a log-built visitor centre serving as a recognizable roadside landmark.
Bella Coola provides the most remote setting in this group. It lies at the western end of Highway 20, and SCS describes the approach through mountains and dense forest into the valley. The preview identifies the local RCMP station and Augsburg United Church as landmarks.
What remains unknown
This is the second city-focused preview for British Columbia, not a release announcement. SCS Software has not given the expansion a launch date in this update. The official Steam listing also continues to mark the add-on as unreleased.
The reveal is useful because it shows how the expansion will distribute work across ports, resource industries, manufacturing and remote roads. It does not establish the final road network, economy balance or total number of destinations. Those details will require later developer updates or the released build.
