Cat Paw Latte has revealed WonderPaws, a cozy multiplayer life sim in which you build a new life in Paw City, a busy borough populated by anthropomorphic animals. Publisher Farlight Games is handling the PC release, which is listed on Steam as coming soon with no fixed date attached.
You arrive in Paw City as one of the settlement’s few humans. The animal residents already live full lives there: they run the shops, make friends, and chase their own ambitions. The game is pitched as a deliberately low-pressure, stress-free space, and the developer frames it around playing together, whether your companions are animals or other people.
In practice that means shopping, socializing, and befriending both the local animals and other players, with a Paw Pal companion at your side throughout. You can decorate your own home, pursue a career as a star, mayor, or designer, and if you want to go a step further you can turn into a Paw Pal yourself and live the city from the animal side of the counter.
The city is built around its residents rather than the other way around. Streets are widened so elephants can pass comfortably, and clear tubes let hamsters commute above the pavement. Neighborhoods take cues from different animal habitats, and players can settle into a downtown apartment with a view over the whole district. The effect is a setting that reads like a place designed by and for its residents, rather than a human town with animals dropped in.
Steam lists WonderPaws as a multiplayer casual RPG with simulation elements. The store page carries 12 screenshots that show the pastel city and its animal cast, and it is the easiest place to track the release. IGN’s announcement reports a 2027 launch across PC and mobile; for now, the store page simply marks the window as to be announced and points visitors to a wishlist button.
