Warframe’s October Schedule Sets Dates for The Icebind and Taubound

Warframe squad in The Icebind six-player mission

Warframe’s October schedule puts two combat activities at the center of the month. The new six-player mode, The Icebind, opens October 7, while Epoch Operation: Taubound runs from October 15 through November 17. Digital Extremes announced both dates in its official monthly update.

The Icebind has a weekly limit

The Icebind is the renamed version of Glacial Defiance, a mode that was originally planned for the Iceblade of Narin update. Digital Extremes delayed it for more development time. The studio now describes it as a set of high-level missions for six players, available up to three times each week. The official announcement does not list the rewards, mission rules or reset timing, so players should wait for the in-game details before planning a weekly routine.

The October 7 launch gives groups eight days to try the mode before Taubound begins. Both activities are aimed at established accounts, but they have different entry conditions.

Taubound opens Eris to eligible players

Epoch Operation: Taubound asks the Warframe community to collect Moonflesh on Eris and trade it to Praghasa. The event page says normal Star Chart and Junction requirements for Eris will be lifted during the operation. Players still need to have completed Vor’s Prize.

Daily messages and event rewards are tied to the limited operation, which Digital Extremes says will not return. A separate Tau Prologue Quest becomes available on October 15 and remains permanently. Access to that quest requires completion of The Hex and The Old Peace; those quests are not required to gather Moonflesh during Taubound.

Two returning October events are also live

Nights of Naberus runs through November 2 at 11 a.m. ET, bringing back seasonal items and the Hallowed Nightmares Tactical Alert. The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest continues through October 31 with community streams, donation incentives and Conquera customizations.

The schedule separates its deadlines clearly: The Icebind is a recurring weekly activity, Taubound is a one-time operation, and the Tau Prologue is permanent. Players interested in the story setup should check their quest progress before October 15, while anyone focused only on Taubound needs Vor’s Prize completed.
