The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The licensed action game uses an arcade-brawler structure rather than the choice-driven format associated with Telltale’s earlier adaptation. Odaclick Game Studio developed the game, while Trailmark Games is the publisher.
Players begin with Rick Grimes, Michonne and Daryl Dixon. Each survivor has a separate skill tree and a signature weapon: Rick carries a magnum, Michonne uses a katana and Daryl fights with a crossbow. Negan is also playable after being unlocked, along with Lucille. That roster gives the campaign four different approaches without changing its basic combat loop.
Walkers and Saviors create different pressures
The official store description separates the opposition into two groups. Walker swarms push players through numbers, while armed Saviors can attack from range. Combat combines standard attacks, combos, dodges, executions and weapon-specific abilities. The Steam listing classifies the game as single-player and includes full controller support, adjustable difficulty and Steam achievements.
Locations draw from AMC’s television series, including Alexandria, Hilltop and the Sanctuary. Boss encounters include Winslow, the Well Walker, Negan and Simon. Trailmark also lists an easier difficulty option for players who want to follow the campaign without the default level of pressure.
Replay options extend the campaign
Completed stages can be replayed with any unlocked character. Skill-tree choices provide another reason to revisit fights, because a later run can use a different survivor or build. The publisher describes the stages as hand-crafted rather than procedurally assembled, so replay value depends on character selection, upgrades and difficulty instead of newly generated maps.
The Xbox edition supports Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing one digital purchase and shared progress across Xbox consoles and Windows PC. Steam lists a September 18, 2026 release date and a $19.99 US price; prices and availability can vary by storefront and region. Neither official listing presents the game as multiplayer, so buyers looking for cooperative play should treat it as a solo release.
