Love and Deepspace Warns Players Not to Recreate Its Fictional Drinks

The official Love and Deepspace account has told players not to make or drink beverages depicted in the game. The warning followed discussion around a set of fictional drink recipes shared for an in-game event.

The developer’s notice is direct: every drink shown is fictional and exists only for in-game use. Players should not attempt to recreate or consume any of them in the real world. IGN reported that the clarification arrived after fans raised safety concerns about ingredients shown as garnishes in the themed recipes.

The warning applies to the full set

Infold did not frame the message as advice for modifying one recipe or removing a single ingredient. It told players not to reproduce any of the featured drinks. That distinction matters because replacing one questionable component would not turn the remaining fictional presentation into an approved real-world recipe.

The notice also does not announce a gameplay change. It does not say that the in-game event has been cancelled, that the drinks are being removed, or that an actual poisoning incident occurred. Its scope is limited to preventing players from treating entertainment material as practical food or drink guidance.

What players should take from the notice

Fans can still discuss the designs and their connections to Love and Deepspace characters, but the images should remain fiction. Social posts, screenshots, and event art do not carry the testing, measurements, substitution guidance, or safety review expected from real recipes.

The safest reading is therefore the literal one supplied by the game’s official account: do not prepare the drinks and do not consume them. Players who encounter reposts without the follow-up warning should check the original Love and Deepspace notice rather than relying on cropped images or copied ingredient lists.

This is a narrow but useful correction to the way the event material circulated. It preserves the fictional context while removing any ambiguity about whether the designs were intended as instructions for fans to follow at home.
