Last Epoch patch 1.5.1 changes how the Circle of Fortune’s Lens of Tyranny works and expands access to the season’s pinnacle fight. Eleventh Hour Games released the update on October 2, one day after Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn began.
Lens of Tyranny now starts at double charge rate
The Lens of Tyranny previously produced about 1.5 times the base charge rate when a player had no banked favor, although Eleventh Hour Games says the exact amount was inconsistent. With favor banked, the lens consumed favor at the same rate it was earned and raised the result to twice the base charge rate.
Patch 1.5.1 sets the lens to twice the base charge rate even without banked favor. When favor is available, it now consumes favor at 10% of the earning rate and reaches 2.1 times the base charge rate. The item description has also been corrected to match its behavior. For Circle of Fortune players, most of the lens’s charge benefit no longer depends on maintaining a favor reserve.
Pinnacle Morditas reaches more character modes
Legacy and Offline characters can now challenge Pinnacle Morditas. The patch also fixes a flickering light that could appear when first entering the Demigod’s Ascendance scene.
Other faction fixes cover the Circle of Fortune Rank 3 bonus, which could create regular idols when it triggered from an omen idol drop. Merchant’s Guild changes restore a missing icon on the price-suggestion information button and make price-lowering fields easier to use with a gamepad.
Skill, interface, and reward fixes
The skill fixes address Dreamslash placing a player inside Yrun’s hitbox and cooldown abilities entering cooldown without being cast when used too close to zero mana. Interface changes make the Escape key close open panels again, correct Bonus Stability after leaving and re-entering an echo, and restore map focus when a quest is selected.
Eleventh Hour Games also corrected cases where Rage of Morditas rewards and corrupted items created by the Portents of Blood weaver-tree node could appear already ruined. The update adds a Korean age-rating screen and refreshes several item icons and skill-preview videos.
