Delta Force’s second-anniversary update is headlined by Detonation (Beta), a new mode that goes live on September 27, along with a giveaway of up to 3,900 free Limited-Time Delta Tickets. Team Jade announced the update in a Steam Community post on September 24. The mode is the centerpiece of the update, which also folds in a wave of time-limited events.
The 3,900 Limited-Time Delta Tickets event runs from September 26 through October 25. Players complete login and match missions during that window to claim tickets in stages. Logging in on September 26 and finishing a single match unlocks the Day 1 Gift Box, which guarantees 1,000 tickets. Starting September 27, playing Detonation (Beta) and clearing daily missions earns additional tickets on top of that first reward.
The update also layers in several time-limited events. A “Way to 2nd Anniversary” Easter Egg hunt runs from September 25 through October 15, hiding clues in a Bird Nest in southern Layali Grove and in Military Radios scattered across the Ahsarah map. The clues point toward an unknown space marked with a question mark. A Mid-Autumn Limited RED event from September 24 through October 15 brings a Lucky Draw Board, ten operator-themed mooncakes to unlock, and Jade Rabbit firearm appearances for the M82, AR57, SCAR-H, and SR-25.
An Eclosion event runs from September 26 through November 9 as an interactive narrative centered on the operator Vlinder, spanning four chapters of an animated comic with puzzles that unlock a themed item set. The event plays out outside of matches. A 2nd Anniversary Celebration from September 24 through October 15 lets players earn Anniversary Tokens and exchange them for Legendary firearm appearances and supplies. The announcement also lists smaller Operations events, including a Haavk Insurance Limited Red drop and a Play the Harmonica challenge, during the same anniversary window.
Delta Force is free to play on Steam, where it is developed by Team Jade and published by TiMi Studio Group. The update arrives as the game enters its second anniversary season.
