Ubisoft released the Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 mid-season balancing patch on October 15 through the official Steam news feed. The update is largely a follow-up to Noor, the operator introduced in Year 11 Season 3, and it targets his Horus Lance Launcher first.
The launcher’s drilling time on Ballistic Shields, soft surfaces, and solid surfaces drops to 1.5 seconds from 2 seconds. Guardbreak strength on projectile impact against Ballistic Shield operators rises to 100 percent from 30 percent, and Horus Lance impact damage against an operator climbs to 80 from 50. Equipping the launcher now uses quickdraw animations, cutting the equip time to 0.4 seconds from 0.9 seconds, and the projectile hitbox was tightened for consistency. The lance can now also damage shield operators while they are in the removal animation.
Tachanka’s Shumikha Launcher gains an impact firing mode that triggers incendiary grenades on contact, alongside its existing bouncing behavior. Valkyrie picks up the Glaive-12 as a secondary weapon, and Solid Snake’s Soliton Radar MK III has its precision-mode charges reduced to three from four.
A set of smaller refinements rounds out the patch. Capitao’s Fire Bolt expansions fire faster, with the delay between expansions cut to 0.9 seconds from 1 second. Clash’s CCE Shield slows retreating attackers more, and Osa’s Talon-8 Clear Shield has its deployment restrictions reduced. Global fire damage rises to 14 hp from 12 across Capitao, Dokkaebi, Goyo, Noor, Tachanka, and Gas Pipes.
Bug fixes cover both gameplay and operators. Defenders no longer lose points for destroying their own Barbed Wire, the Horus Lance projectile hitbox size is corrected, the launcher reticle now responds to the Reticle Opacity option, and the drilling sound no longer plays when Horus Lance projectiles are destroyed by electrified Barbed Wire.
The notes do not list a separate server-side deployment time beyond the October 15 post, and no weapon tuning is described beyond the operator changes above.
