Marvel Rivals’ Halloween update is live. Version 20261015 arrived October 15 at 09:00 UTC with no server downtime, built around the All Hallows’ Glow event, a refreshed costume pool, and a round of hero and map fixes.
The event’s framing is a Halloween cleanup: players light Lanterns across the Chronoverse to banish the shadows lurking in the dark, and the event missions hand out festive rewards. NetEase is rolling the content out in steps — the event and its free skin land with the patch on October 15, while the costume pool refresh and the store additions follow a day later on October 16.
The headline free reward is Rocket Raccoon’s “Trash King” costume, earned by completing event missions in All Hallows’ Glow, which runs from October 15 to November 13. Two premium costumes — Scarlet Witch’s “Chaos Weaver” and Hela’s “The Redeemed” — sit outside the free mission track.
A separate Halloween Pop & Win refresh opens October 16 and runs to November 13, offering Invisible Woman’s “Unseen Weaver”, Deadpool’s “Nurse-Pool”, and Mister Fantastic’s “Mr. Malignance”. Its Cross-Pool Promo ties the three pools together: pop a balloon at full price in one pool and the balloon at the same draw number in the other two pools drops to 50% off. NetEase’s example is concrete — pop the third balloon on one costume and the third balloon on each of the other two is halved. Because the first full-price pick decides which positions become cheaper, the order of spending can change the total cost for anyone chasing several costumes.
The store also adds chroma and Ultimate Ability VFX options on October 16: Scarlet Witch’s Chaos Weaver Chroma in Azure Augury and Scarlet Spinner, and Invisible Woman’s Unseen Weaver Chroma in Ruby Rite and Gilded Gaze.
The patch fixes two hero bugs and some map geometry. Jeff the Land Shark’s Reservoir Ripple no longer has a chance to skip its Aqua Burst blast-radius expansion in Blood Hunt mode, and Black Widow’s Bite Bounce no longer launches her an absurd distance. Collision fixes stop heroes from getting stuck on several maps.
