PUBG Americas Series 2 reaches the last day of its second playoff stage on September 27. Three places remain in the field for Finals 2, so the closing session has a tighter qualification margin than either of the previous two days.
Why Day 3 starts from a clean table
The official PUBG Esports format divides each playoff stage across three groups. Eight teams qualify on Day 1. The leaderboard then resets before Day 2, when five more teams move forward. A second reset leaves the Day 3 field competing for the final three positions.
Those resets mean earlier results determine which teams return, but they do not give anyone a points advantage in the decisive session. Boundary Esports, Keep Out, OVERP0WERED, Antarctic Fox and Last Minute Roster were assigned directly to Day 3 by the published format. They are joined by the bottom 11 teams from Day 2.
The closing weekend comes next
Finals 2 runs from October 2 through October 4. The playoff’s 8-5-3 split produces a 16-team field before that last weekend begins. Day 3 therefore settles qualification rather than the tournament championship.
The official event notice schedules the Americas broadcast for 7 p.m. EDT and 4 p.m. PDT. It lists English coverage on the PUBG Battlegrounds Twitch and Kick channels and the PUBG Esports YouTube channel, alongside separate Portuguese-language broadcasts.
What viewers can verify
PUBG Esports also lists a PUBG Creed Helmet reward for viewers who make 120 minutes of progress on an eligible official stream on September 27. Account linking and regional eligibility still apply; the reward schedule is not a substitute for checking the platform’s own drop status.
The final qualifiers should be treated as unsettled until the matches conclude and the official standings update. A live score can change from one game to the next, while the tournament page provides the authoritative completed table.
