Loftia’s Steam Next Fest demo lets you keep your progress into Early Access, but the transfer has one condition that is easy to miss. Developer Qloud Games says you must link your loftia.gg account in-game using your email address; without that link, the team warns it may not be able to recover your demo rewards or progress.
The account-linking requirement
The official demo page is explicit. To track your progress and claim your rewards, you sign in to your loftia.gg account in-game. The link is not an optional nicety – it is the mechanism that carries your save forward, so it is worth doing before you sink time into a run you expect to keep.
What actually carries over
Qloud Games lists gameplay progress and your character name as carrying into Early Access on November 3, 2026. There is a separate deadline for the name: if you claim a character name during the demo but do not log into Early Access between November 3, 2026 and February 3, 2027, the name is released for other players to claim. That three-month window matters for anyone who wants to lock in a specific name.
Demo scope and rewards
The demo runs October 19 through 26 and opens Loftia City – meeting NPCs, following the opening questline, gathering and salvaging resources, farming, decorating a home, and joining Group Adventures. Proficiencies cap at level 5 in the demo, with higher caps arriving in Early Access. Group Adventures bring cooperative puzzles, and the first World Project asks players to work together on a birthday celebration for Pebble. Qloud Games says solo play is supported and should not block most progress, but Loftia is an online title with no offline mode.
Finishing the demo earns the Demo Banner, and inviting friends unlocks the Pebble Chair and Pebble Couch. Those event cosmetics follow an account-claim procedure rather than simply appearing in your inventory.
Loftia’s Early Access begins November 3, 2026. The demo is free on Steam.
