ESO Moves Greymoor and Wolfhunter Into the Base Game on October 19

The Elder Scrolls Online players exploring the High Seas of Tamriel event

ZeniMax Online Studios will move the Greymoor and Wolfhunter DLC into The Elder Scrolls Online base game on October 19. The change is scheduled two days before the launch of Season Two, Echoes of Skyrim.

The studio’s October survival guide says all ESO players will gain access to Western Skyrim, the Antiquities system, Moon Hunter Keep, March of Sacrifices and the Kyne’s Aegis trial at no additional charge. Players will still need the base game, and the announcement does not say that every item once sold with those DLC releases is being granted separately.

Echoes of Skyrim starts October 21

Season Two begins on October 21 and is scheduled to run through January 27. ZeniMax says it will take players into Eastern Skyrim and add solo versions of the March of Sacrifices and Moon Hunter Keep dungeons. A new Tamriel Tome will provide another set of unlockable rewards.

The timetable makes October 19 the practical preparation date. Adding the two DLC packs to the base game gives players access to their zones, systems and group activities before the season sends them back to Skyrim. The official guide does not specify a separate download procedure, so players should check the game client and account entitlements after the change goes live.

Two event windows overlap the rollout

The High Seas of Tamriel event and its Set Sail on the High Seas Golden Pursuits campaign continue through October 14. Their activities cover ship combat and underwater treasure, while the pursuit track offers gold, a pet and a pirate-themed style.

Later in the month, the Witches Festival runs from October 21 through November 4. ZeniMax lists Trade Bars and Plunder Skulls among its bonus rewards. The community-led TESOctober event runs throughout October, separate from the in-game reward schedule.

Dates players should keep separate

The month has three distinct milestones: High Seas closes on October 14, the two DLC packs join the base game on October 19, and Echoes of Skyrim plus the Witches Festival begin on October 21. Treating those as separate dates avoids assuming that the base-game entitlement arrives with the season patch itself.

ZeniMax may issue implementation notes closer to launch. Until then, the survival guide is the controlling schedule for the announced October changes.
