Hunt: Showdown 1896 Survey Reminder Narrows the Feedback Window

Crytek has issued a second call for Hunt: Showdown 1896 players to complete its 2026 survey. The reminder does not announce a game update or a new feature. It points back to the annual feedback form that the studio opened on September 30.

The original notice says Crytek wants opinions about the game, its future and the issues that matter to its community. The follow-up, posted on October 4, asks players who have not yet participated to share their views so the team can better tailor the experience.

The response window is short

Crytek said at launch that the survey would close after one week. It did not provide a specific time or time zone in either Steam notice, so players who intend to respond should not assume the form will remain available through the end of October 7 in their region.

The questionnaire is hosted on SurveyMonkey, but the invitation is linked directly from Crytek’s verified Steam announcements. Players should use that official route rather than an unverified repost, especially because survey links can be imitated.

What the notice does and does not promise

The studio describes the form as part of its continuing effort to shape Hunt alongside the community. That establishes the purpose of the survey, not a commitment to implement every requested change. Neither announcement promises a roadmap, a public results report or a timetable for acting on responses.

That distinction matters for anyone using the survey to raise concerns. Specific feedback about a mechanic, interface problem or recurring match experience is more useful than treating the form as a vote with a guaranteed outcome. Players may also want to avoid including account credentials or unrelated personal information in open-text answers.

The October 4 post is therefore a deadline reminder rather than a separate content beat: the survey itself remains the action item, while future patches and event announcements will continue to arrive through Crytek’s own channels.
