GTA Online is running a five-week Halloween schedule that rewards regular play rather than a single login. Rockstar Games says the event began October 1 and continues through November 4, with a different weekly objective and reward in each window. Players who finish all five objectives are due an additional GTA$2,000,000, delivered within 72 hours of completion.
The weekly checklist
The opening challenge, available October 1–7, requires two Bail Office Bounties and awards the Green Vintage Skull Mask plus GTA$100,000. From October 8–14, two Adversary mode wins unlock the Pink Skull Emissive Mask and another GTA$100,000.
The middle week shifts to racing. Winning three Races from October 15–21 earns the Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie and GTA$100,000. The October 22–28 objective asks players to complete every wave of a Survival, paying GTA$150,000 and the Gray Space Interloper Outfit. The final challenge, October 29–November 4, requires completing 10 Survival waves without dying. Its rewards are GTA$250,000 and the Slasher Clown Outfit.
What else is active in October
Rockstar’s schedule brings back the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival in North Yankton alongside Alien Survivals and Cayo Perico Survival. All Halloween Survivals pay triple GTA$ and RP during the event. Random Transform Races and Hotring races in the San Andreas Super Sport Series also pay triple rewards.
Players who prefer freemode work have a separate bonus path. Standard and Most Wanted Bail Office Targets pay double GTA$ and RP throughout October, as does Dispatch Work for Vincent Effenburger. The seasonal activity mix also includes Ghosts Exposed, Slasher, Peyote Plants, and paranormal encounters around Los Santos.
Plan around the reset dates
The cumulative bonus makes the individual windows important: missing one weekly objective means losing more than that week’s cash and cosmetic item. Players joining after October 7 should check the live event panel before assuming an earlier objective remains available. Rockstar lists each challenge as a fixed date range, and it says the GTA$2 million payment depends on completing them all.
The practical approach is to clear each requirement early in its window, especially the final no-death Survival task. Bonus payouts and unlocks may take up to 72 hours to appear, so an immediate absence does not necessarily mean the challenge failed to register.
